Flower delivery to Nový Malín

The municipality of Nový Malín also includes the localities of Mladoňov and Plechy. In 2025, it had around 3,600 residents. The Krásné Reservoir lies within its territory, about 3 km from Šumperk. The Olomouc–Šumperk railway line runs through the municipality, which has its own station.

The first written record of the municipality dates from 1350. In 1398, it was referred to as a small town. It was called Frankštát until 13 July 1947; it was renamed Nový Malín in memory of the burning of Český Malín in Volhynia. The Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary in Nový Malín is a Baroque building from the 18th century, and its tower dates from the late 16th century.
